My name is Taylor Baik, and I am a Korean-American artist currently based in Los Angeles, California. I specialize in background design/paint, visual development, and illustration. I am currently working at Rough Draft Studios as a BG/prop designer.

Art has always served as a way for me to tell stories and bring my imagination to life through images, using design, color, and light to evoke emotion and clear narrative. The stories and work I create tend to be very whimsical, heartfelt, and typically involve some sort of magical element.

Some of my favorite things to do when I’m not painting include reading a good fiction novel, being in nature, eating (everything), plein air painting, and so much more. Thank you for stopping by!
